Al Shabaab suspect held at Voi police station

A Suspected Alshabaab militant who was found with a gunshot wound on the head is being held at Voi police station.

The suspect was arrested by CID officer at a farm in Voi after he was reported by his fellow farm workers.


Voi OCPD Joshua Litukai says that the farm workers reported the suspected terrorist after a foul smell started emanating from his head wrap.

Police have also recovered documents indicating that he received medical attention at an hospital in Kajiado.

Police are currently interrogating him and investigating his alleged links to the Al Shabaab militia group.
