Models abandon high heels scamper for safety in Finals chaos

The finals of the high profile Nairobi Champions Cup between Gor Mahia Youth and Terror Squad was billed to be a thrilling climax, but chaos from Gor Mahia Youth towards the end of a penalty shoot-out spoiled the party and left a bad taste in the mouths of the organizers
Beautiful models who had made the finals lively and were meant to present the winners with the trophy had to abandon their high heels and scamper for safety after errant fans started throwing obstacles from all directions at the Camp Toyoyo grounds. A state of the art podium that had been prepared for the presentations was also damaged from the violence.
VIPs and invited guests were also not spared as they dashed out of the venue in a huff. The title was awarded to Terror Squad who pocketed the winners’ prize of Sh1 million, however, Gor Youth who were to earn a runners-up package of Sh250, 000, failed to get the prize after the tournament sponsor decided to punish them for the chaos.
