Varsity students threaten unspecified consequences if wrangles persists

University of Nairobi students have threatened to take matters into their own hands if the institution council does not end power struggle between the vice chancellor and deputy vice chancellor for administration and finance.

Speaking to media, Ochieng Ochieng from SONU said the wrangles between the duo is affecting operations at the campus.
Education cabinet secretary Jacob Kaimenyi has asked the institutions' administration to internally solve their wrangles. Kaimenyi said that the university has a council that can deal with the issues before involving the ministry.
