Just like in football, there comes a time when new faces must be brought in to add to the team.
On Wednesday night at Mseto East African Night, Grandpa Records unveiled their latest addition, Dufla Diligon, to the “government” as they fancy themselves, as they launched his song Tempo.
Dufla, who comes from the war torn Baragoi area, is a dancehall artiste and has released the dancehall tune produced by the stable’s sound engineer, Visita.
Speaking to Spice after the launch, Dufla stated that it is a dream move for him and marks an important milestone in his career.
According to Refigah, the outfit’s creative director and head, Dufla is a versatile artiste and his style will bring different taste to the Grandpa Sound with a potential to compete against the likes of Pato Ranking and the likes.
“As an artiste, he is disciplined, something that not many artistes out there have. We are finalising on some logistics and soon, if all goes well, he will pen a contract with the label,” he added. Hope that comes to attest.
