TAYLOR SWIFT’S NEW VIDEO SHOT IN AFRICA

Here’s a big one for ‘Swifties’ in 254! Barely a week has gone by since Taylor
Swift’s Wildest Dreams video debuted, and the new hit already has over 35 million views on YouTube.
And although there is a lot of criticism amid accusations that the video set in Africa, 1950, has racist connotations, director, Joseph Khann has come to the defence of Tay.
Khann, who also directed her Bad Blood and Blank Space videos, in a statement opposed criticism from bloggers and social media users who suggested that it
presented an “African colonial fantasy”.
Khann also tweeted, “Every video I’ve done with Tay has been criticized as controversial by the media.We’re like the NWA of pop videos lol.”
The video was shot in Botswana and South Africa, which Khann revealed in an earlier tweet. Jealous, totes. Next time Tay, head to 254!
